Your main tasks are:
- Being the main representative for all Finance tasks in the branch
- To liaise with both external and internal auditors within the audits
- Prepare statutory Financial statement
- To cooperate with external tax advisors on preparation of yearly CIT return, monthly VAT returns and other returns; communication with local tax authority
- To provide accounting related advise and support to the business units through the diagnosis of financial issues and proposal of solutions
- Responsible for reporting to Statistical office and Polish National bank
- Monitor the changes in regulations
- Retained organization and Back up for Lodz branch accounting & AP
- Cooperation with local management and other finance departments
- Participation in projects / software updates
Which skills are important for us? π
- Work experience: minim. 2 years in similar position in the shared service centrum, financial services or audit of financial institutions
- Good command of written and spoken English and Polish
- The position is open for experienced accountants who are looking for a new job challenge as well
- Ability to be a key contact person for stakeholders (branch management, auditors, advisors etc.)
- Capable in usage of MS Office applications; experience with SAP is welcome
- Good knowledge of Polish GAAP and IFRS
- Accuracy, reliability, ability to work under time pressure and tight deadlines
- Service oriented to key clients, proactive approach to solving tasks
- Strong individuality as well as team player
