„Practice in Lodz – summer internships is a project organized as part of the “Youth in Lodz” program, whose aim is to enable students and graduates of Lodz universities to gain professional experience. The project can be attended by people up to 30 y.o. who are students or graduates (up to one year after graduation) of Lodz public or non-public universities. We look for students after second year of technical, mathematical, business, finance, economic or related studies.

In your role as a Market Data Analyst you will be working alongside an experienced team of business experts in Frankfurt and London and use new technology to reduce spend and identify revenue opportunities. You will be involved in both the terminal and license management of that bank and use your expertise to provide guidance to both business and IT. Ultimately you will build a trusting relationship with our stakeholders and vendors and use that to successfully run market data and trading related projects.
What you will be doing? 👇
- Finding optimal market data terminal solutions for the users within the bank
- Work closely and proactivley with our market data stakeholders to understand the business model and asses the specific market data requirements
- Generate and review cost transparency reports and discuss with the respective business managers
- Enhance and maintain data quality within our Market Data inventory system
- Provide guidance for development and operations using your business knowledge and take an active role in the communication with the business

The Market Data cluster explores the market data requirements of the business and matches these to the products and the delivery channels of the vendors. It optimises Market Data connectivity to meet business requirements based on latency, bandwidth, and cost. The market data monitoring will be continuously expanded to monitor market data consumption and identify inefficiencies such as duplicated, redundant or orphaned licenses.
In Lodz BDAA Market Data runs a development and an operational engineering chapter. We now looking to build up a team of business experts and analysts to supplement these activities and to create a tight link between business and IT.
