„Practice in Lodz – summer internships is a project organized as part of the “Youth in Lodz” program, whose aim is to enable students and graduates of Lodz universities to gain professional experience. The project can be attended by people up to 30 y.o. who are students or graduates (up to one year after graduation) of Lodz public or non-public universities. We look for students after second year of technical, mathematical, business, finance, economic or related studies.
📢 Join our team as a SAS DevOps Intern! 📢
As a SAS DevOps Intern you will be responsible for development and enhancement maintains of the SAS Business Intelligence infastructure. SAS DevOps is responsible also for writing scripts in Unix/Linux environment and contributes in SAS platform development including server and application architecture. You will actively support SAS platform maintenance, design solutions, test cases regarding SAS infrastructure - SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya software.
What you will be doing? 👇
- Developing Unix based scripts to automate processes in the SAS infrastructure
- Application support on development and operations activities to ensure stability of the SAS Viya and 9.4 platforms
- Supporting team in Cloud journey
- Performing requirement analysis, investigating and implementing solutions, preparing documentation
- Team collaboration using Agile methodology (Scrum / Kanban)
- Daily cooperation with users, product owners and other IT teams in Poland and abroad
Alternative tasks:
- Finding innovative solutions for product design and be open to work with other BI and Data Warehouse tools
- Designing hotfix procedures, planning and monitoring their implementation
Which technology & skills are important for us? 👇
- Good analytical skills with attention to details to solve problems
- Basic knowledge of Unix or Linux environment,
- Basic knowledge of shell scripting,
- Basic SQL knowledge,
- Willingness to learn SAS Viya and 4GL language and One automic (UC4)
