About the project:
As a Business Expert in the Data Steward role in Cluster Trade Finance, you will be responsible for data management used across Trade Finance products. In cooperation with Data Officers and other data stewards from other clusters you would be responsible for meta data and data quality in the following areas: Defining, specifying and documenting standard data models used for various Trade Finance products.
Close cooperation with teams/vendors to define standard data models and its customizations.
First contact person for CDO (Chief Data Officer) Office / Cluster Data Stewards for respective unit.
Participation in and contribution to the Data Steward Community.
Responsible for data within cluster and organizational unit within the scope of framework, and depending on relevant components of ownership
Cluster Trade Finance delivers fast, client focused and central provision of Trade Finance products and services for all clients globally along the whole Trade Finance Supply Chain - electronically and traditionally. Our main products are documentary business (Letter of Credits, Collections, Guarantees) connected with developing automized IT solutions with use of OCR technology and Artificial Intelligence. We combine all services regarding Trade Finance products from product management, product specific / technical sales support up to run and change all TF IT-systems. To support the business processes, we develop own, integrate 3party software applications and operate them on different IT-platforms.
What you will be doing?
- Support management (Cluster Leads, Line Management or Management of international locations) in establishing a strong Data Management
- Initial documentation and maintenance of business and technical data model and data flow for trade finance area together with respective cells.
- Reporting to local reporting line as well as to the Chief Data Officers.
- Preparation of documentation for standard Trade Finance data models processes and customizations.
- Preparation of Data Management reports and KPIs,
- Collaboration on Data Delivery Agreements with other Data Stewards and Product Owners.
- Improving data quality by ensuring data quality management in own cluster and organizational unit.
- Establishment of the Data Quality Issue Management process within the cluster.
- Assisting the roll-out of Data Quality Issue Management across clusters or organizational units.
- Analysis and cleansing of Data Quality issues
