Description of the cluster:
Model Validation department β a part of GRM-VAL executive area consisting of teams located in Frankfurt headquarters of Commerzbank and in Poland as well as in London β is responsible for validation of models in the following areas: credit (PD, LDG, EAD, IFRS 9, CVaR, stress), operational, market, instrument pricing, liquidity, and counterparty risks.
A successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 10+ specialists responsible for model validation in the area of market, counterparty, liquidity risks, IRRBB/CSRBB as well as instrument pricing at one of Europeβs largest banks.
You will be responsible for: π
- Managing validation of risk models (regular validation as well as ad hoc validation and initial validation in the context of a model development or model change), verification and validation of derivative pricing models.
- Further development and maintenance of model risk management framework ensuring state of the art validation methods and approaches as well as their documentation in validation concepts and policies.
- Preparation and monitoring of validation schedule.
Which technology & skills are important for us? π
- Personnel management: Good leadership and communication skills. Ability to motivate the team members and develop their careers.
- Practical experience (min. 5 years) in building/validation mathematical/statistical models.
- Knowledge of mathematical and numerical methods used in market risk modelling and instrument pricing.
- Knowledge of R and/or other programming languages (C, C++, C#).
- Knowledge of MS Office, LaTeX
- English C1 level
