About the project:
In your role as Software Developer you will be part of the reporting team responsible for process and improve the current workflow regarding Central Electronic System of Payment Information (CESOP).
CESOP is a EU Regulation for Transmission and exchange of payment data to fight VAT fraud. The data exchange is focusing on Cross-Border Payments which are settled by Commerzbank within an EEA area.
As Developer you will responsible to improve adequate solutions, to configure the system, to redesign system to meet high volume transactions. You will use modern IT infrastructure and tools and work in an environment of Agile product development.
What you will be doing? π
You will be involved in all steps in the lifecycle of a software development starting with:
- Build the primary reporting infrastructure that requires high volume solutions, using as well cloud components
- Build solution for data consolidation from multiple platforms, data cleansing and enrichment
- Build the integration with the central CI/CD
- Build Big query landing zone and data export function for data provisioning
- Develop Terraform configuration o deploy all relevant GCP services to a given GCP project
- Plan and build permission concept: Plan and build permission concept: Implement data access requirements in Big Query to ensure data privacy and compliance
- Develop ETL pipelines for harmonizing different data sources
- Release ETL pipeline and GCP services to production environment
- Make impactful decisions about systems architecture, including their edge cases, failure modes and life cycles.
- Contribute to team learnings by improving engineering standards and processes
- Own solving problems end to end across a variety of systems and services in close collaboration with other engineers, business experts
Which technology & skills are important for us? π
- High knowledge of Java,
- Defining solutions and architectures for the application and integration layer landscape,
- Understanding of cloud fundamentals, working with Terraform, GCP Cloud,
- Good knowledge of CI/CD processes,
- Good knowledge of developing integration logic and processing various document formats such as Flat File / JSON / XML /SWIFT / SOAP
data consolidation from multiple platforms. - English (at least B2 level)
