About the project:
As Business Expert in our Team Data Ingest you are the bridge between the users of the data on the Commerzbank Data Lake and our team that implements the data pipelines that bring the data to the Data Lake. You help our internal users to properly define the business requirements so that the developers in our team can understand and implement the requirements.
The Big Data cluster is the enabler for data scientists and provides a huge collection of data and a data science workbench in one place.
β’ Establish a stable, state-of-the art technology base
β’ Set up data lake as single data and analytics hub and effectively ingest most important data sources
β’ Establish data quality and metadata management
β’ Provide Data Marts and sandboxes for segments and functions with the most important combination of data sources
β’ Provide new, maintain/integrate existing BI technology within the lake infrastructure
β’ Ensure precondition for decommissioning of secondary data bases
What you will be doing? π
- Be the first contact for users that want to use the data on the Commerzbank Data Lake
- Help to define data driven requirements to the Data Lake
- Help developers understanding the requirements
- Manage and support business
- Understand dependencies between requirements so that you can help to prioritize and plan the implementation of the requirements
- Help to document the existing and new data on the Data Lake so that users can find the data they are looking for
- Working in an agile, cross-functional, self-organizing team setup
- Defining functional test scenarios and quality assurance measures, supporting, and coordinating test-activities
- Internal stakeholder management
Which technology & skills are important for us? π
- Communication Analytical
- Strong SQL profficiency
Nice to have:
- Data Modeling Fundamentals
- Familiarity with Data Warehousing / Data Lake Concept
- Cloud Platform Experience (GCP)
- Experience with manipulating data using spreadsheets and text tools
